Important Updates from our CEO

As an essential business, the health and safety of our employees is of the utmost importance. They are exposed to many people on a daily basis, and we need to employ every measure available to us to protect them and limit their exposure to only members with necessary transactions that can’t be done remotely.

In order to do that and also due to staffing shortages, beginning Friday, April 3rd our Chatsworth branch will be available by appointment only during normal business hours Monday-Friday until further notice.

Appointment priority will be given to members who need to make transactions that cannot be done via an ATM, online or mobile banking. We urge every member to follow the Safer at Home order and only make an appointment if absolutely necessary to do so. If you are sick or have been exposed, you will be required to conduct business exclusively via phone. If you have a special circumstance, please use the appointment link to explain your specific request and someone will get back to you. . 

Please know that we appreciate and thank you for your understanding and patience during these unprecedented times. We will continue to monitor public health guidance and respond appropriately. Please stay safe and take care of yourself and your loved ones.

To Our Members:

The health and safety of our Matadors Community Credit Union members and employees is our top priority. With concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to serve you safely and effectively as we all continue to navigate this ever-changing situation.

We want you to know that our branches remain open for normal business hours and our employees are here to assist and support you with all of your banking needs. If you would like to contact us by phone, you can call our Member Services team at (818) 993-6328 Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Fridays 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Our Business Continuity Team is closely following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Administration to continually monitor the situation and help us respond properly.

We have taken the following steps to provide uninterrupted service and maintain the health and safety of our members and employees, including:

  • We clean all surfaces and high-touch areas in both branches and ATMs throughout the day.

  • We have hands-free sanitizer stations located at each branch for our members and visitors.

  • We have provided employees with hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray, sanitation wipes and disposable gloves.

  • We have a janitorial service that does a deep cleaning of all high-touch surfaces daily in both branches.

As a financial institution, it is critical that we remain open to serve our members. For the safety of our members and employees, if you are experiencing any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus or you feel that you may have been exposed to it, we ask that you please take all recommended precautions to avoid further exposure to the public. We recommend visiting the CDC website to learn more about what to do if you feel you have been infected and for preventive measures you can take to protect yourself, your family, and the public.

We encourage you to sign up for Online Banking and download our Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play. You will be able to check your balances, make transfers between accounts, pay bills and more anytime, from anywhere.
